In the great state of New Jersey, there are only three things you can count on; taylor ham, DJ Pauly D and Alex Rauter knowing someone at your local hockey rink. When COVID-19 canceled nearly all the hockey in the state in 2020, Commissioner Rauter took it upon himself to create a new opportunity for the state’s best players to hone their skills.
Flash forward a few years, and the Jersey Pro League was born. The JPL is the only summer league in New Jersey made up entirely of professional and collegiate athletes. Our goal is to grow the game of hockey in New Jersey! But it's also pretty fun to compete against the state's best players and rack up Championships. 🏆🥇

What started out as a summer skate for past teammates and close friends, turned into a legitimate league for NHL superstars and top tier NCAA athletes to play in every week at the Prudential Center in Newark.

TIMELINE
2020 Floyd Hall Memorial Series
The Memorial Series was gritty and that's a gigantic understatement. Players had to get dressed outside in tents, sometimes even in the rain, and carry their skates inside with a mask on because locker rooms were not yet available due to COVID-19 restrictions. Lots of fun was still had though.
2021 MSU Pro League Champions Crowned
The following summer the Memorial Series turned into what was known as the "MSU Pro League" which saw Team Captain Drew O'Connor guide his team to victory over Team Perez and capture the first and only ever MSU Pro League title. DOC played like 1 game that whole summer and idk if he even had a point. Rauter and Piccinich carried the team to victory.
2022 Formation of the JPL
The Jersey Pro League LLC was officially formed in a small apartment in a little town called Spisska Nova Ves, Slovakia. The JPL saw its inaugural season played entirely at the RWJBarnabas Health Hockey House. 4 teams competed: The Lab, XHockeyProducts, 43Oak Foundation, and Homegrown Hockey. Captain Alex Rauter led XHockeyProducts to victory over The Lab to claim the first ever JPL title. Alex Whelan was named playoff MVP and the LAB vs XHockey rivalry began to grow...
2023 Creation of the JPL Club Division
Budding entrepreneur and long time friend of the JPL, Michael Panchery, had the brilliant idea to start a JPL Club Division in order to host New Jersey's top ACHA/AAU College Hockey players. The Club Division saw the arrival of 4 teams: Joker/Ammerman Hockey Schools, Synergy Uniforms, TiroBar, and Hockey Path.
J/A claimed the first ever Club Division Title with a dramatic 7-4 upset victory over the #1 Seeded, undefeated regular season champion: Team TiroBar.
And in the Pro Division, XHockey Products cruised to another championship. CJ Hapward was the unanimous playoff MVP.
2024 Team Ironbound and Mr Lemon Wax emerge victorious
Against all odds, coach Sam Cheema lead Team Ironbound to their first JPL championship dominating LAB in the finals. Picked to finish last in the preseason polls, Coach Cheema entered the season with a career record of 3 - 12. But the young, savvy coach's patience paid off. His young group matured big time and was carried all season long by Playoff MVP Jason Cai as well as, a core cast of young sensations including Ryan Lukko, Trip Pendy and Chase Pirtle. Captains Remy Parker and Matt Brown also played a key role in steering the ship down the stretch. XHockey Products and Commissioner Rauter's run of 3 straight championships finally came to a sad end.
In the Club Division, Mr Lemon Wax rode their beautiful jerseys, high team spirit and free team wax all the way to a Championship. An expansion team coming into the season, MLW finished with a total record of 7 - 1 - 1. The Delaware boys were led by Captain Griffen O'Shaughnessy and a surprise guest named Bobby Barrasso. Shoutout to playoff MVP and "summer sponge intern of the year" Christian Tsao.
2025 History will be made. XHP Revenge Tour loading... 👀
